im really confused about the the principle of winulator that it can run a windows game on Android device. These games run on x86 cpu, but Android is based on ARM. So how can a X86 game run on ARM device ? Does winulator convert the x86 machine code to ARM machine code ? Even If it do convert the machine code, that is not enough. Cuz the games must rely on some windows APIs. So here comes the question, how does winulator deal with the windows APIs ?

In fact, im planning to develop a app to run some windows games on mobile, so i really want to know how does winulator get to work, then i can do the same thing in my development. Can winulator be opensource?
