I was having this issue as well, but was finally able to get it to work. The version I had to use I obtained from Battle.Net. If you create an account on the website, you can register your copy of StarCraft; registering allows you to re-download it at any time. I registered, installed, and then updated through accessing battle.net in game.
Hope this helps! Unfortunately, this was the only version I was able to get working. I previously tried re-installing it with the disks, and tried getting the game from file sharing sites, neither of which worked.
Where is no another way to download it from somewhere else for free? To try it ? P.S how many MB installed starcraft takes? Because I downloaded 1,2Gb after install it takes 144MB But that version didnt worked
Mine is not genuine and i got it working for the first time. Make sure you have the latest patch installed and make the game run without cd by renaming and copying the install.exe on the cd to BroodWar.mpq and StarCraft.mpq and place it near the starcraft exe, then copy the whole Starcraft dir to the sd card with the sc profile file.
This is how i got it working: -Downloaded starcraft 1.151 with brood war. -Installed them -Download and applied both Starcraft and Brood war 1.16.1 Patch -There is an Install.exe both on the Brood war cd and the Starcraft CD as well. Rename them to BroodWar.mpq and StarCraft.mpq them copy them next to the starcraft.exe -Copy the starcraft prfile file into the Starcraft dir -Copy the starcraft folder to the SD card That's all
