As I've updated in the Winulator blog (you subscribe to it), games will be supported based on popularity of the said games.
The beta launch will include support for Caesar III only. I've picked a less popular title merely for the beta - There is support for another (more popular) game already in the works.
Hopefully the beta will reach adequate quality before the end of the month and you'd be able to play it
After the app is published, every once in a while I intend to release support for another game. After the beta there is going to be a poll based on the list of games people want.
This project has been so fun to do, that I have quit my job for it (and hopefully, might be able to make a living). Being a programmer 20 years out of my 30 years of life, I take great please in this. Like yourselves, I also played some of the popular titles during the late 90's on Windows.
I wish you good luck too and that you can live with the earnings of winulator when it's finished. How long do you need for a full game, what do you think? I LOVE the patrician 2 but i know its not one of the first game which will be "translated". (if it ever gonna be supported) There are great other games too (caesar III e.g. ) and i hope you have fun with your job and it don't needs too much time
Sorry for my English. Your work is great! I am waiting for your project. Would it support old 3D games? I will be happy to play Redguard (in software mode it runs on windows 98 witout any problems), if it's really. Sanks for your work and good luck!
