I was wondering: is this possible to run other .exe applications through winulator? I am interested in running mathematical program Maple on the .arm architecture. Is there any chance for this to happen?
It's been mentioned many times, ripped off on the play store recently, so please, bring salvation to many old skool gamers, Port DUNGEON KEEPER GOLD!!!! Please please please!!! Huge demand / fanbase for this game just search Android forums and look @ comments on similar titled rip off on play store, please!!!!
As I've updated in the Winulator blog (you subscribe to it), games will be supported based on popularity of the said games.
The beta launch will include support for Caesar III only. I've picked a less popular title merely for the beta - There is support for another (more popular) game already in the works.
Hopefully the beta will reach adequate quality before the end of the month and you'd be able to play it
After the app is published, every once in a while I intend to release support for another game. After the beta there is going to be a poll based on the list of games people want.
This project has been so fun to do, that I have quit my job for it (and hopefully, might be able to make a living). Being a programmer 20 years out of my 30 years of life, I take great please in this. Like yourselves, I also played some of the popular titles during the late 90's on Windows.
MechCommander would be awesome. The game is now free though it needs the iso file to be mounted. EARTH 2140. Have two of the original copies of the game and the gold. I can't get that game to work on nowadays systems. Not even in wine. Any C&C games. Any Incredible Machine games.
And many, many more that can't get into my mind right now.
