Hello, I would like to know how to get a similar configuration to this: It seems perfect, with the A button and the control groups, but on the beta I'm using (straight from the play store) I can't figure out how to add anything but the arrows, the right click and some control modifier... if that's a limitation of the beta, I'd be happy to purchase the full version, but if it's not, I'd like to give it a try first, because it was still quite frustrating to use without those features! Also, a suggestion that would greatly improve the panning, would it be possible to simulate a middle click by using two fingers? Alternatively, the arrows on the left could be used to simulate a middle click hold and drag with mouse movement speed increasing as we get further from the center of the widget, in the manner of an analog on screen control? That would be amazing! I've been checking the blog everyday for over three months now, hope the development is still going, that's one amazing project!

At first I could not figure out myself, but whenever you started starcraft, just press the back button on your device, and a menu will pop up. There you press control widgets, and you can choose any layout that you like! I hope that helps Cheers

Well, I got that far before, but like I said the only widgets available are the arrow pad, show keyboard, modifier (ctrl/alt/shift), left click and sticky... But I can't find any way to get any of the other keyboard keys or combinations, like A, F10, ctrl+1, etc! Is it just a limitation of the beta? Because that screen seems to come from the beta so I'm wondering...

No, not a beta limitation, it should work fine. Works fine with me. Sure you have the latest version? In the widget menu, choose "hotkey" and your key (and select a modifier like ctrl or so i needed.)

But how do you choose your key? My version (2.0.1, like I said, from the play store) only shows ctrl, shift and alt when I choose keyboard hotkey... I can't scroll the menu further, and I can't find any other categorie... I should say I'm on gingerbread, maybe that's why?

Alright, here's how you do it: 1 launch starcraft and open the control widget screen do you get this: 2 draw a widget , select keyboard hotkey and press ok 3 select ctrl, alt, shift if you need any of themand click pick 4 a scrollable list should appear. 5 select the key you need in this list. 6 click ok. you have your widget.

You're welcome! In that case I can't help you. Might have something to do with your gingerbread, I have ICS... I tried seeing if the configuration is saved somewhere in a file I can access but it seems not.

are you rooted? I've found the incriminated file, it's in data/data/com.postram.winulatorbeta/databases (only visible with root)
and it's the "winulator" file, you can open it and see a list of shortcuts with X and Y coordinates and all that! If that was possible to see if it's only a limitation of the interface on GB and not a way to say that it wouldn't work no matter what (it's the most likely, but one can dream) that would be great! the other problem might be that my device is a phone so the grid might actually not be the same size! I could potentially edit this though.
